	Preventive Maintenance Install pad protectors on feet of furniture Never slide furniture on wood floor Avoid walking on wood floor with high heels or cleats Remove wet spills promptly using a soft cotton cloth Don't let sand and dirt build up Never wet mop wood floor Vacuum with a soft brush or sweep to remove any loose dirt or grit use mat at entrances to minimize dirt		Newly Finished Floor Care Absolutely no traffic for the first 24 hours after the last coat of finish is applied No tape of any kind to the new finished floors Allow 24-48 hours for light traffic with stockings Allow 48-72 hours for normal traffic Lift furniture into place (Do Not Slide) Avoid cleaning your new floor for 7 days
